Between Monday 27th February and Thursday 2nd March 2017, the brightest and best mobile innovators came together to showcase everything new and incoming in today’s mobile world at Mobile World Congress. Mashable’s Chief Data Scientist Haile Owusu – in partnership with OLAY – hosted a panel of experts on Monday February 27th to discuss all things Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AI is all around us – we’ve been interacting with “sentient” machines for a long time even if we’re not fully aware of it. The panel spotlighted OLAY’s intelligent new Skin Advisor platform, which is designed to help women better understand their skin and find the products right for them. Built on a deep learning algorithm and a suite of other AI technologies, Skin Advisor detects areas that are driving women’s “skin age” and analyzes these areas to determine what’s holding it back from looking ten years younger. Using this intelligence, Skin Advisor identifies her “Best” + “Improvement” areas, and pinpoints the skin care regimen that fits each woman’s specific combination of needs. Read more…
