Shaun Cheney — known in the scene as Meanmugg — has been a recognizable face in the Arizona entertainment and music world for over twenty years. He started in 1996 as a promotional manager running a street team, and built a career across two disciplines at once: party-starting DJ and working graphic designer.

Behind the decks he's shared stages with Just Blaze, Z-Trip, Questlove, 2 Chainz, MSTRKRFT, Afrika Bambaataa, Sam Gellaitry, AC Slater, Le Castle Vania, and Shaq — mixing hip-hop, rock, electro, dubstep, and whatever else the party needs.

On the street he's run promo and Street Team marketing for the labels, publishers, and brands that built the culture: Universal, Interscope, Columbia, Arista, Priority Records, Loud Records, Penalty Records, Tommy Boy, Rawkus, Street Elements, Rap Pages Magazine, Larry Flynt Publications, Hugo Boss, Lucky Brand, and Paramount Pictures. Today he leads creative and marketing for some of Arizona's most-talked-about venues — and OSOM is where all of it shows up under one roof.
